It was pouring with rain most of the time but our overall impression of Cordoba was very positive. It was bustling without being frenetic, the people were warm and friendly and the Mezquita was quite amazing. We wish we’d had more time and would very much like to go back.

Delightful town with pedestrianised centre and charming streets. Quite touristy around the main attraction - the mosque/cathedral (Mezquita) but that's understandable as it's a stunning and unique building. The Roman bridge across the river is attractive too and worth walking across for the view of the town. We were less impressed by the bus trip to the Medina Azahara - a ruined Arab city 7km out of town - fairly dull compared to the Mezquita and the vigilant guards prevented us from sititng down anywhere onsite, so we were unable to eat the picnic we'd brought! However, don't miss the huge and beautiful Alcazar gardens near the Mezquita - a much more relaxing place to spend an afternoon.

A fantastically rich historic town with so much to remind you of the cultural integration of muslim, jewish and christian communities. But there is also a living town too with great food music, and art in the contemporary art centre. Only problem is at the weekend it is overrun with Spanish stag and hen parties, so it can get VERY LOUD and quite overwhelming.

We had two days in Cordoba and we able to see all the main sights in that time. We were really impressed with La Mesquita and the other sights of interest. It is well worth going on a guided tour as you would miss a lot of the smaller points of interest like the hidden patios and monuments.

Cannot give too much praise for the flamenco at Tablao El Cardenal. The best flamenco we experienced out of 3 other shows. Highly recommend. Winding streets of old town were easy to navigate with gps. The Mezquita-Catedral de Córdoba is a must-see.

We have returned to Cordoba perhaps a dozen times, and have always stayed at Las Casas de la Juderia, except for the occasional desire to explore. Las Casas however, is now an integral part of our Cordoba experience.
Cordoba is an easy city to walk, the sites, dining and shopping. The day starts with the 8:30 brief walk through the Mezquita (no entrance fee), breakfast, walk the town., light lunch, usually boqerones en vingre, walk some more. Then hit the beautiful pool with my book 4ish, and out for tapas around 6, and later a restaurant or more tapas.
Cordoba is glorious, the people, sites, food and is very courteous and polite. The alluring Moorish influence is everywhere.
Cordoba (and Sevilla) are as special to me as Florence and Salzburg, BUT DIFFERENT!
We stayed for two nights visiting Cordoba. We received a warm, friendly and helpful welcome. The hotel is located about 15 minutes from the centre in a quiet suburb. A taxi to the centre costs around EUR10. It's a fairly large hotel in a park setting, lots of grass and trees. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite which was very spacious and comfortable. There are function rooms and conference facilities. Our dog was welcome, which is not always the case in Spain. We had a meal in the restaurant, which was good but the menus was limited.
Great location, in the middle of the centre, but on a quiet street. Spotlessly clean and everything you need is in the appartement, like a dishwasher, nice shower, great beds. There is a private parking place close to the appartement. Lukas is a great host, who responded quick to all of our questions and helped us with the bags. He speaks perfectly English. We had a great time here. Think the best beds we had during our trip in Spain😊
My favorite stays so far in Spain. I love the apartment location and the apartment was so nice and cosy for the two of us. We spent two days out of our stay hanging in the apartment because we were so tired. It was a very nice break to catch up. The facilities in the apartment were really good, there were basic kitchen amenities and a washing machine with soap and everything. Really nice place to stay.
The hotel was small and charming. Very helpful staff, though some spoke little English (and I spoke little Spanish). The breakfast was sufficient (toasted rolls with tomato purée and finely chopped ham, hard boiled eggs, small yogurts, fruit, VERY strong coffee). We checked out and (with the staff’s help) left our luggage in a locked closet for a final day’s wander in Córdoba.
Good sized room with a spacious, shared courtyard. Loved the attached hot, tepid and cold baths, with steam room, where they offered really good value massages. The hotel was well position on the edge of the old Arab quarter and close to the mosque/cathedral and Royal Palace & gardens. It's rustic and fairly basic - not luxury, but the staff and position are great.
Very good location for Cordoba Old district - right in the heart of activities.
The hotel is very 'quirky' and has lots of character, as were the bedrooms of course, but facilities were good and comfortable.
Shower in our room was excellent - one of the best on our Spain Road Trip !.
Staff on reception very helpful and friendly
The location was excellent but the facilities were quite dated and did not match the photos online. The HVAC system in the room was loud and unresponsive to temperature controls. The website suggests the hotel has a rooftop deck with pool and restaurant, neither of which appeared to be in working condition when I was there.
This was the best value studio apartment so far on our Spain trip. We arrived a bit early(during cleaning) and the host let us park and put our stuff inside while we headed to the Mezquita. Everything is within walking distance. Not sure why “loft” is in the title as it was ground floor. Easy to find. Recommend highly.
One of the best hotels I've stayed in for quite some time. Javier met us when we arrived and gave us a full tour of this incredible place. Rooms, common areas, outdoor patio and beautiful neighborhood were all better than expected. I love Cordoba and recommend La Ermita to all travelers.
A beautiful hotel located in the city centre (spectacular historical building) with spacious and luxurious rooms, a swimming pool and great terrace and bar upstairs. The hotel staff was really friendly and accommodated all of our requests. The best location for a stay in Cordoba.
Carmen at the front desk was so gracious, welcoming and helpful. She really represents your hotel very well and put a very positive accent on our stay in cordoba. I hope you value her.
We had a tour around Spain via train and this was our favourite hotel. Quiet, secluded and stylish without being poncy. Best breakfast, and service from all the staff was so friendly.
This is literally like a 5 star hotel. Extremely luxurious and spacious enough for 8-10 people. Centrally located and exceptionally well furnished. Cannot recommend this place enough
Our best stay in Spain. The view is amazing, the appartment is perfectly equiped, very clean and comfortable. Our host was also very nice. It was a real pleasure to stay there.
