Basic, but clean and quiet place. Good food at the restaurant opposite the accommodation and a great guide who's also a really nice person - thank you for the amazing tours! Had a wonderful experience and would come back any time!

Basic rooms but relatively clean, great food with very generous amounts. Peaceful setting, can't even hear morning mosque prayers. No WiFi but mobile (digi) reception good from the restaurant to work with a view. Tours were brilliant, with small group sizes (one was just us) and a very knowledgeable guide in JD. Saw orangutans twice, and all other Borneo 5 other than elephants. Surrounding area is beautiful although make sure you take enough cash with you beforehand because no ATMs nearby.

Basic room, but this was what we expected. Good AC and warm shower. The owner picked us up from Sepilok and brought us back to Sandakan. Cheap private transport and we were able to stop at a shop on the way. The owner was very nice. Service 10++. The trips were successful and the owner as a guide was professional and pleasantly calm. Breakfast was noodles and egg and coffee, simple but delicious. The restaurant has good food and affordable prices.

The place is so nice to explore the river. The room is really simple but clean. The experience on the river is worth all the money spent. Jaidi, is really a lovely guy and a very knowledgeable guide. Best place to explore the river.

We liked the hotel - it was basic but definitely clean and comfortable to stay a few days. Internet is not amazing if you plan on working but it is the perfect place to be offline anyways. The best thing are the tours with Jaidi. We saw so many beautiful animals and had 3 amazing days. He’s very knowledgeable and cares a lot about the environment and people in that area. I can highly recommend staying there and booking the All-inclusive Kinabatangan river tours.

Room was spacious, clean and comfortable and shower was nice and warm. Jaidi provided excellent tours each morning, afternoon and evening which were the highlight of the stay. He knew so much about the wildlife and the area with an incredibly keen eye, and we were able to see so many amazing animals. Breakfast was provided in the Restoran Simpang Tiga restaurant opposite which was fab - we went there for both our evening meals as well which were delicious. If you’re looking to do a Kinabatangan River cruise, this is definitely the place to stay!

We did the 2D1N tour which was unforgettable, wish we had planned to stay for 2 nights as we would of loved to have gone out again. Jaidi was really a great tour guide, incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the environment and also really friendly to chat with. Definitely recommend to stay here and do the tours with them.
